I'll follow-up with some better Pics & description.

For those of you with gauges what sort of oil pressure and temperature is normal
Have fitted a couple of gauges and get 60psi cold tick over and goes unto 80psi when driving. Warm tick over was around 30psi and around 60 psi driving.
The temperature was a cold 6 deg c and I was surprised how long the oil took to warm up and never went above about 85 deg c on a 20 mile drive.
Makes you think you'd be better off with 10w40 in the winter.

That agrees pretty much with what I get. A lot of the time in cooler conditions (5-15c) it seems to be 60 psi and about 60c, only rising above 60c when the car is stopped at idle for a time.

Below 40f S&S recommends 10-40wt.

Those temperatures sound about what I was getting on a cold day with 6 liters of oil. Never got hot quickly so the engine was always running as though it was not warmed up yet. I changed that with a thermostatically controlled oil cooler and an oil tank that is now holding 4 quarts. 6 miles to 85c and the engines runs smoother more quickly.

Oil pressure is the same, 15-20 warm idle and 75 when running warm.

I could be a bit off with the readings as without my varifocals its a bit hard to read the gauges but looks to be in the same area.
Just surprised how high the pressure was and the long warmup time.
Do you use your oil pre heater Stephen?

If it is in the high 30’sF to low 40’sF i do preheat the tank oil and that does speed the warm up time. I do this from a heated to 62F garage.

Just had mine out today after the SPA oil pressure / temp gauge install and a fresh oil change. Mobil 1 20w-50. Outside temperature was about 45F. Oil temperature reached 170F after around 20 minutes of normal driving, and pressure when driving 68-72 and around 35 at idle.

Where was the sending unit installed for the pressure/temperature gauge?

The kit from Merlin Motorsports includes an aluminum sandwich plate that fits between the engine and oil filter and accommodates the pressure and temperature sensor. I'll try to get some decent pictures to add.
