Mine will drip a few drops when parked then after a week or two it will cease dripping & will be fine for a variable period, no pattern to it. I was never worth correcting & as Calum says the new one will likely do the same.

Hi Tim, thats how mine started, now it's loosing a teaspoon every day just sat in the garage on stands.

The leaking oil has done a fair job of inhibiting any corrosion on the underside though.

Funnily it never dripped a drop of oil in 6 years then after I had the cams changed in 2019 it started to leak and has slowly got worse.

Did you install any breather system when you added the cams?

No, dealer did the cams, stock breather system.

I have now modified the breather hose so it has a continuous fall to the engine.

Will do, although she won't be on the road for another month or so.

Just a quick question guys.

How is everybody stopping the crank shaft from rotating when tightening up the front pulley bolt?

I slackened it off using a windy gun and don't really want to put it on the same way.

Here are the S&S instructions:

The inference is you just tighten it against the cam belt, I can't remember how I did mine but it hasn't moved in 6 years.
