Is it wrong that I see it as an essential journey and therefore a reason to take the Morgan???

Heretic comment to follow. Be kind to me.

A Morgan is just another car so drive it.
It’s the necessity for journey that matters NOT the mode of transport.

🤣🤣🤣

Ps if I tried doing doughnuts with Her Ladyship in the car I suspect that it won’t make any difference if I’ve had a jab because my life expectancy probably won’t extend beyond getting to the car park exit 😩

Through all the lockdowns I've used the Morgan on essential journeys: it is a car and if the journey is justified I don't see the choice of car makes a scrap of difference.

Put it down as in support of Mental Health, I figure it is true?

Mrs D got her letter in today for the 17th March, hopefully I'll not be far behind.

Our oldest son who has asthma got his first injection on Monday, he managed to go back to work and finish his shift but felt awful by the end, went home aching all over and slept for twelve hours.
Our neice in Somerset got hers the week before, same after effects for her. It would appear younger people suffer more after effects maybe?

I had mine a just over a week ago (AZ). Had it at 9.00am, got through the day OK, but by late evening felt really rough. Went to bed early and temperature went right up. Really rough night, but at 2.00am had a couple more paracetamol. and then by 3.00am all symptoms went and I felt right as rain (apart from tired due to lack of sleep).

Might be of interest - we've been LFT testing kids all week, and staff have been home testing twice a week. Had about a 95+% consent rate from parents. Most of those who have refused testing have also refused to send kids to school previously due to concerns, or have told us their children are exempt from wearing masks. Make of that what you will.

So far we've tested all 1900 kids once, and 600 have had their second test today. We will continue with second and third tests through the next four school days and then I think the kids swtich to home testing twice a week. Staff (350ish) have had at least three tests now - one in school, and two at home. We will continue with twice weekly home testing for the forseeable future.

We have only had one positive LFT so far, which resulted in self isolation for them, the five kids sat around them in the testing station, and their sibling. The next day, one of their household had a positive PCR case which gives us a bit of confidence in the accuracy of the LFT test.

It's a bit of a pain, and wipes out two years groups a day from 8 to 10.30am each day. Takes a large number of staff to supervise and test 600 kids too, but if it stops a massive spike in cases/infections it will be worth it.
