It’s pathetic- had a jab yesterday and been zonked all day today - feel like they slipped me a dose of the Russian Sputnik which has got mixed up with Novichok Man up! It's only a tiny prick. Personal observation there Dave!

It’s pathetic- had a jab yesterday and been zonked all day today - feel like they slipped me a dose of the Russian Sputnik which has got mixed up with Novichok Nearly four weeks ago my good lady and I had ours (AZ) and I just had a sore arm/shoulder for the week, my good lady had a racing heart, migraine, the shivers and pain in all of her limbs and had it have lasted through to the next morning I was going to take her to hospital. The only logical (non medical) explanation I could think of was that her BMI is so much lower than mine being 5'7" and 9 stones that it had a major effect on her, we reported it on their yellow follow up website. The effects should not be underestimated.

As it happens I'm also participating in the on-going ONS COVID survey and have regular PCR tests, including blood tests for antibodies. I'm pleased to report that my Feb blood test was positive for antibodies,a great endorsement for having the jab !

Thanks for that , we are enrolled in the ONS study so like you get monthly Covid swab checks which is quite reassuring. We haven't had a blood test as yet so possibly a little behind you in the program. We have been told that if you have a big reaction first time around you are unlikely to suffer so much with subsequent vaccinations, Radio 4 medical information.

Anyone suffered a temporary loss of taste after the AZ vaccine?
Oldest son reported this along with the muscle ache, temperature and fatigue issues.

I had VERY mild after effects. I used to feel worse on a Sunday morning after a good game of rugby the day before.
