MMC refuse to supply them & I understood if you fitted one the warranty is void.

In my 53 years of Morgan ownership the worst thing that has happened to the car and its contents was the theft of the gearstick knob whilst parked in Shepherds Bush in London.

Morgans tend to attract attention and therefore they are often looked at rather than ignored , so only the most determined thief is going to succeed.

Likewise theft of a whole car is almost unheard of, as the vehicle would be incredibly difficult to dispose of.

Thule do some straps which are both threaded with a wire core , and lockable . This will deter all but the most determined tea leaf.

For a minute there, I thought you meant while driving! It was a very amusing comment until I realised I'd got it wrong 😂!

I love the image of driving whilst locked to the steering wheel.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

In addition to all the above I would consider a footlocker from a known brand (Lxxxxxxs)
I have one fitted and find it is really useful for locking away cameras, satnavs etc etc.
Enjoy planning your tours!

I use Kanulock straps for the luggage, lockable with a steel core. As used by the kayak buffs.

Can someone who already has Kanulock straps tell me what size they bought? I realise it depends on the case used, but even the 2.5m ones would seem very long for a case on my luggage rack. Can they be successfully shortened or are they stiff enough not to flap around if tucked in?

I think we bought 2 m which was too long . I just wrap them around themselves. They would not cut easily. Why not put on the case and use some string to measure.

My Kanulocks are also to long. I fold the ends and fix them with velcro straps together
