We had our first AZ jab today.
Let's see what the next few days bring especially with my "Funny blood" as my doctors call it.

A friend who is quite fit had a blood clot in his leg last year and had the AZ jab today. He did say he'd had a blood clot previously but they gave him the jab anyway.
Life is a bit of a lottery but I cant really understand those who would prefer not to have the vaccination.

We've now done over 5000 tests in school, and staff have now done at least 4 tests each (1 in school and 3 at home) so that's another 1400
We've only had two positives among kids. Without being too disparaging, knowing the family circumstances of both kids neither came as a surprise.

The first only took out about 6 kids, but the one today has wiped out a whole stack of students (bus to school and back, social time, lessons) and a couple of staff.
More and more staff have now had their vaccinations so school is becoming a much safer place.
From tomorrow, all the kids have home testing kits so not sure how that will pan out.

They must be using a long swab or know something about the connectivity of our internal plumbing that we aren't aware of

Just back from my first Jab, very well organised at a large events venue, two burly security guards making sure you sanitise & pop on the new mask provided, then 9 check-in desks and then through to 20 bays all 'jabbing', you're then sent back out to your car to wait for 15mins...  sorted !
