I'm now several days into the fit of SSL's updated 5-Link rear suspension. I've been advised by Peter and Dan that this is the first DIY fit of their updated kit (and may be the first fit period) so thought it was worth a post. Nothing to report on fitting the new kit beyond photos of what it looks like because all I have done so far is removed the old suspension. V glad I do not have to refit the leaf springs because they were a real b****** to get out. Also glad that I bought a kwik-lift, which makes working on the car much easier. The new 5 link kit is different in a number of ways including machined axle brackets (great look and feel) and revised side plates/reinforcement beams. As has previously been reported, good comms with Peter and Dan. Hope to complete the fit this week and then set up the suspension thereafter before local use and a Welsh road trip in June.

I've driven and ridden in Molly, SSL's development car.
The difference is "night and day"....
Enjoy the result!
