I know David, I know. I have a fair bit of info about the place, but I've never found the time to go. A GREAT omission on my part, I do agree. Got some free weekends coming up, now that the motorsport season is coming to a close for me... Brian, that looks a good plan, but I want to know who is going by whirlybird to the lunch?  Sadly, any weekday is out - no leave remaining... Cheers,

[size:8pt][/size] Why not a compromise and settle for the Middle with a visit to The Heritage Centre, loads of interesting driving roads close by and lunch somewhere completely different at The Masons Arms. It's some years since I've been, but it was always an interesting experience!  I'll vote for that! Me too

Yes me too!----its a great idea  Like someone else has already said, a decision will need to made soon otherwise the next big hurdle will be timing!! And Father Christmas will already be climbing down the ladder!!or is it chimney---so long ago I think I've forgotten

Duxford is great. I have also never been to the Shuttleowrth collection.

Duxford is a great venue, I haven't been for years but if I remember they served a very good lunch of the steak pie/ apple crumble variety for less than £10. The highlight was watching a Hurricane take off from the grass strip.
