Nice spring weather so took the S5 out for a 'rumble in the jungle' (Barnsley) - Plus 6 is great but can't beat the sound of that V8

Yesterday a gentle gander round some local lanes in the glorious sunshine.
Today a short drive to Halfords to but the AuroGlym stuff I need to detail Tarka ready for the season to come. The cockpit is now bright and clean, next is the bodywork.

180 miles around the South Downs & Thames Valley today. Hat n' gloves cold at the start, but full sun by mid-morning. The excellent & cunning plan was 6 locations, with 6 cars at each, at a time, and then shuffling around to meet as many people as possible. Here's the northernmost point, an anonymous car park by an empty cinema, somewhere North of Bracknell (Aero, random stranger McLaren, Taycan, cracking US V8 and the loudest Aventador you've ever heard. The Morgan has "something" that the Macca and Aventador just don't have.
Did you polish the S5 first? It looks suspiciously bright and clean....
Clever plan to comply with the rules.... I admire the deviousness!

If the Morgan is a broadsword, Macca is a rapier!  Love them both and they're both British built  if sadly not owned anymore! As you said Peter, love the clever plan...

No more than: - a wipe down with a detailer spray: https://www.gtechniq.co.uk/shop/auto/ceramic-sealants/quick-detailer/ which I'm very impressed with. I'll try more of Gtechniq's point 'n spray products. I don't have access to a hose, so can only dry wash - a bucket of water to wipe down the wheels - metal polish on the grill & pipes Will

I saw a very nice blue Aero in the Cotswolds at the weekend - STU was the plate. Saw it a couple of times actually - was driving so no pic.
