Hi Planenut, I drilled 2, 3mm holes one either side then screwed 2 self tapping screws in and pulled it out with pliers.

I drifted the new one in using a spark plug socket.

Part number for the new one is: SKF, HMSA10V, 22x35x7 Radial Shaft Seal.

Thanks for the parts number info Dab of oppo. Good to know that the self tapper works in that location, may come in handy one day. Much better than removing the cam plate.
