Great run up from the south coast to Bedfordshire with a mate of mine to collect his new MGB from Allon white.
Wrapped up warm, no sidescreens or hood, fresh 99 octane petrol and 280 miles - feels so good to finally get out and about. Motorways up and mixture of some great A and B roads back.

A 60 km trip to our daughter's new apartment set in a 25 ha park near Leuven. The building dates from 1934, it was a former cloister and was recently converted into apartments.

Good to see a solid handsome building being re-purposed rather than demolished to make way for modern development .... can't ever see me living in town again, but if I did some of those warehouse appartments overlooking the Thames wouldn't offend me too much 🙂 ......just need to find the odd million down the back of the sofa.

Your lovely car and the building go together nicely.

Went to Kersey mill for Drive It Day. Will post photos elsewhere but it was a lovely almost normal day out.

Nice drive to Warwick Castle and back, Thought I'd see a few more classics out, but nothing bar a sole E-Type.

Did spoke the Blue Morgan in Wollaston again yesterday, reg ending LBJ. Not sure if they're on here.

Yes a surprising number of cars verging on normality for drive it day at Kersey Mill, Suffolk. Total of 12 Mog's spotted.

Plenty of Mk2 Jags as well this 3.4 being my favourite.

The colour and interior leather (Magnolia) may have some bearing on that though innocent

Rather nice GT40 as well.

Interesting how the manifold plumbing terminates into two silencers from opposite banks. Best scavenging?

We drove over to Fritham in the New Forest for a walk.

No other Morgans, but the sky was brilliant blue and the sun warm: not that many people about, possibly because the pub was not yet open. It looks as though the Pub, the Royal Oak, is waiting for "full service" to resume, although they have a large garden they don't have the staff to provide table service for drinks.

This is Tarka parked by the pond, built to provide hydro power for the adjacent gunpowder works.

And this is the pond,

Taken into the sun, with the light reflected off the water. I rather like the photo!
Taken on an iPhone, it has been "enhanced" slightly... but still remarkable what a "camera" with such a tiny lense can capture!

A 45 mile round trip to meet friends, so 4 +8s at the Cafe on the A10 just south of Royston. No other cars but a 100 or so bikes. Saw a DB3S en-route not sure if it was a fake or not.

Dirk - I hope those balconies are properly built - they look like the type of balconies that collapsed in Los Angeles when the attachments of the wood rotted - resulted in the death of some Irish teenagers on work visas. I assume that German builders are of a higher standard, but a good survey on a regular basis would be good!!!

Cheers!
