Frank - that's just what you need as a Scout to check for road (NT) irregularities. If that gets over them, a Roadster sump surely will  Otherwise? Sorry, don't dig it...

Lets see who's young at heart and who's not keeping up. My 17 yr old Son bought this a year ago and has been slowly turning it into his ideal Do you get it?    Old wheels here   Sorry I must be old I just don't get it Now if it were Citroen H van then that's a different kettle of chickens...

There was one of those old Citroen vans at Chelsea Auto Legends which was covered in surface rust but solid......looked the nuts

I don't get the 'rat' thing but I can't think of anything cooler for a 17-year-old to be running around in. Take it the canopy comes down quickly for the ladies?!

Dig the vehicle....don't dig the bling bling wheels...(not on the same vehicle)....When I was a teenager we would call those Carlos Fandango wheels.
Bit like choc-ice and chips.....but hey.....each to their own !

I remember Carlos Fandango with fondness........I still use it often The Choc Ice and Chips is the whole idea. Wheels bling together with a mint interior and engine bay is whats going down on da street these days. ....Come on Son  Side curtains come down in fact he slept in it for 2 nights at the VW Action meet. Incidentally....VW mags are all over trying to feature it so its very much the thang

VW mags are all over trying to feature it so its very much the thang Yes...mmmmm.....I see. Well.....mmmmm. Is that an example of where everyone wants to create a completely unique and individual aesthetic, just like everyone else but in the end everything ends up looking the same ?   I'm grappling with that kind of thing at the moment with a Harley-Davidson 'project'......it's easy to go too far and end up with something un-cool. Keep on truckin' guys !...cooooool man

The mere mention of that name cries uncool..............to many
The amount of abuse you can be subject to for owning a Harley. Quite unbelievable.
Me I think they're great to a point and then like as you say can go the other way (that rhymes)
