I am soon to have a double garage 17'x17' looking for recommendations for insulated flooring. Currently favouring Duramat. Does anybody have experience of this product.

I went for Ecotile. Made in the UK from recycled/reclaimed material. Been down 5 years now, I'm very happy with them.

Given early access to our new build double garage 6 x 7m. Builder very accomodating on giving me keys in advance of move, so bare concrete sealed and painted on back wall and floor using dedicated Ronseal paint. Now moving in ten sets of plastic shelving to store all our tat. Adding insulated flooring is well down the priority list although I will transfer the large piece of carpeting Morton sits on in present garage.

Long term plan is to cut out three of the roof A frame chords after first bracing with 6 x 2" timbers bolted up in scissor style. This to give clearance for car on hydraulic lift.

I'm a big fan of polyaspartic epoxies:

I didn't but it was a new garage with a newly laid floor (1 year old). It was pretty level but it hadn't had any self leveling screed applied it was just poured concrete.

Same here. The concrete was poured and tamped but wasn't floated or screeded. I just swept and hoovered it and put the tiles down. It's been fine for over 5 years now so plenty of time for any issues to emerge if they were going to I think.

I imagine any floor tiling would benefit from being laid on a non-screed poured concrete floor.

A bit wary of super smooth floor finishes. I did a fib and tib job on my right leg following unsuccessful attempt to move a light twin in an aircraft hanger frown
