I've owned my 3W since '17 and still never met another.
This is a mere setback.
To make lemonade out of lemons, our 'plan b' is to retrieve a car in SC that I previously planned to ship, drive it home through VA and stay at Skyland on Sat.night regardless. Happy to enjoy an Anniversary libation and or dinner with Mr/,Mrs Rcmatt!

Spoke with Mrs. Rcmatt... we will be going up to Skyland as I am now retired and it is an enjoyable place to visit. Besides Saturday is our 44 anniversary. Happy Anniversary and enjoy the retirement.

I so wanted to join-in the Skylands run in June, but alas, softball season is in full swing (no pun intended) and a tournament conflicts with next weekend. Family over cars unfortunately prevented me considering it this spring, but the fall would be delightful! If a postponed to September - before it gets too cold up on the mountains - there is a much better chance we can make it. Skyland drive, Shenandoah NP and the BRP are most favorite places for us.

I messed up and only reserved through Friday and when I called NO ROOMS AVAIALABLE for Saturday our plan is to be in SW Oregon Sept/oct. the first church I pastored 40 years ago is there (before going into medicine in my 40's). they are tiny and my wife preaches, so we thought we would "give back" and spend two months out there. All depends on them finding a mostly furnished place we can rent.

My lovely Mrs. and I drove from Pittsburgh PA to Front Royal Va. last Thursday night. We got up and drove down Skyline Drive to the end on Friday, with quite a few stops. We went on to Harrisonburg Va., stayed overnight and drove home on Saturday. Rte. 33 is a great road from just outside of Harrisonburg to outside of Elkins, West Virginia. It takes you through a couple of National Forests, past Seneca Rocks and is a hilly, winding road. Great fun. We didn't take the 3 wheeler but our F-Type convertible. The weather was great, the scenery was great and we had some good food in Harrisonburg. The only three wheelers we saw were Harley trikes, a slingshot or two and an unknown model. Not a Morgan in sight. If the tour happens this fall we would consider joining in.
