Heaven knows what if anything else has changed. John As far as I can see, there are 2 options: 1. Lots of things have changed but nobody bothered to keep a record of exactly what, so they don't actually know 2. Lots of things have changed and there is a written record of what and when but they don't think they need to tell the customers Neither are particularly impressive. Option 1 simply beggars belief, option 2 smacks of arrogance.

I picked my 22 Plus Four up on 1st June. The 12v socket has been replaced by 2 USB sockets. Major changes are the brakes, the hood and seats have been improved, as well as a locker behind the seats. I have covered over 1000 miles already, my 6th Morgan over 40 years, and easily the best.

Hi Tim, Option 1 is very believable of the MMC we know and love and is possibly confirmed as one cannot get a complete build record from the factory. Apparently parts of it are "commercially sensitive" so one is only able to get a partial version of the document. Option 2 suggests proper change control management at MMC but why will they not tell customers. Apparently a further video detailing the changes will be available soon, who knows. I do know one dealer who seems unable or unwilling to tell me. Hope you are well and that we will meet up soon. Best regards, John

Hi Gin, Delighted to hear your news. I have seen it reported that the new hood is more waterproof, quieter and easier to put up and down. How have you found it? Best regards, John

My last Morgan was an Aero S1, difficult to compare hoods. Its certainly water tight and easy to put up. The sound system is also great, you can hear the satnav instructions at illegal speeds.
Cheers

My dealer warned me about a trunk in the back. But without pictures or measurements I didn’t take it. Now I’m sorry.

Are you admitting to speeding George??? John had you taken a tour, you would see the battery is under a bonnet, on the left hand side for your car. Very easy to fit a charger lead. Had you gone around the factory with your eyes open, you might also have noticed that there is NO space under the rear parcel shelf - so you'll have to find somewhere else for a jack! As for USB sockets - more people now ask for those to power Satnav/phone charge etc. than a 12V cigar lighter - which in many cars nowadays is NOT live with the ignition off.

Hi John As Graham mentioned my Plus Four has got a cigarette type socket under the dash on the left hand side. I have a suitable adapter plugged in which allows a USB. It never worked for the Ctek unfortunately… I now have the adapter socket/leads permanently attached direct to the battery (I think it came in the box with the charger) which means I can simply lift the bonnet and plug Ctek straight in. No hassles at all Kindest regards HB

Surely the selling dealer can solve this, it’s a very simple and minor job. All it needs is a request for them to prepare the car for your battery conditioner as part of the PDI and prep. Assuming you don’t fancy doing the job yourself, all the harnesses and connectors are readily available. Give me the measurements and I will knock up a fused sub harness for you, done that for a few owners on here.
