You just cannot beat a picture of a Morgan with an aircraft. Errrr, I think yours is bigger than mine!

Loving the Shackleton ..... when I first moved here they were still operating .... that noise dragged me out of the house to watch them go over every time!! 🙂

Yeah, pics of Morgans alongside a Shakleton seems very apt indeed. That the Shakleton was described as 10k loose rivets flying in close formation, kinda fits well with the amount of flex and movement in the structure of a trad Morgan, never more than when yomping along an old worn B road with any sort of pace on.... Been there done that while bighting at the rear end of a very surprised 911 for just a few miles. I was much younger then..

I’ll be doing a Wing Walk on top of a Boeing-Stearman in a couple of weeks, down at Headcorn Airfield - It’s a fundraising event for the Heart of Kent Hospice, which is celebrating its 30 anniversary this year. Their Event Manager is hoping to arrange for me to park ‘Morgie’ next to the Wing Walk company’s plane after I have done my flight......... I’ll be sure to post a photo is that comes off. A lady friend of ours did this last year at 70 and terrified of flying in anything. She did it in aid of The Children’s Hospice South West, it’s a great way of raising funds now we have all become bored with sponsored parachute jumps.
We watched the Breitling girls perform at Ascot for the Red Bull Air Races, they were brilliant.
