I know John, I bought one in the past for the Sport, I also advised the OP in the past when we discussed the same issue with one of his previous cars 🤣

Managed to get some proper touring mileage on the Plus 6 at last with overnights in Llandudno (never visiting a seaside town again without a seagull proof cover), Ruthin Castle (no peacock damage), Oswestry and Shrewsbury with a detour to the Great British Car museum in Derbyshire on the way back.

Plenty of room in the back for luggage - managed nearly a week (just) without using the luggage rack.

We’re in Ruthin Castle at the moment. Room 222 as used by Prince of Wales on the night before his investiture. Allegedly haunted and definitely tired. Looks like it hasn’t been decorated since 1969.
With apologies for wrong thread.

John had you taken a tour, you would see the battery is under a bonnet, on the left hand side for your car. Very easy to fit a charger lead. Had you gone around the factory with your eyes open, you might also have noticed that there is NO space under the rear parcel shelf - so you'll have to find somewhere else for a jack!
As for USB sockets - more people now ask for those to power Satnav/phone charge etc. than a 12V cigar lighter - which in many cars nowadays is NOT live with the ignition off.

Hi Graham,
I did take a tour and saw that the battery is under the bonnet and I have a direct connection lead, I have just discovered, in the bag the CTEK came in although it is not fused. I will speak to KH about that and maybe Mr Spanner Juggler ;-) BTW for seven years with the Plus 4 then Roadster I have connected the CTEK through the 12V socket with no problems whatsoever.
I didn't notice on my tour that there was no room for a tool tray under the parcel shelf. I didn't honestly think about that and with hindsight realise I just assumed there would be one. I believe other people have looked at storing a jack under the spare wheel (I think this maybe with classic cars) but I'm yet to find out whether this is possible on a Plus Four. On that note I have been told that 22MY cars ordered with a spare wheel are supplied with a jack and tools in a bag.
Best regards,
John

So common sense has prevailed about providing a jack when a spare wheel is specified.

That's good news.

You can use your hand to check the surface below the chassis and found them easily , there is 3 little rectangular plate of 5 mm bounded bellow it.

The User Manual, which you can download from the MMC website, has an illustration showing where the jacking points are.

the MY 22 is not delivered with a jack. There is a pouch with a puncture spray. The good news is that the front speakers are working fine now. I had to put a little neoprene on the front of the side-screen leather because of the rising water. Otherwise it's still the best Morgan I've had.
