It is a rolls Royce colour from years back, called Bronze: it seems to be a multi component paint, when I had some minor bodywork repairs done the paint technician said the mix had over 30 components.

The car was specified by the Sales team at the factory and it was intended to be eye catching as the car was used for most of 2014 as a press demonstrator. I was told that the paint is very expensive: a number of customers, having seen my car, asked to have it on their new build, but most felt it was too costly: there is one +4 in the same colour, I believe.

Thanks for the info Peter

I got our form a short run on Saturday afternoon after adding EBC Redstuff pads all round and putting my second set of wheels on with the brand new Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tyres. Initial thoughts are all good and will have see how the brakes improve as the pads bed in and hoping that the initial bit of pad seal goes as they bed in (despite plenty of copper ease). Pilot Sports feel nice on the road and improve the tiny bit of vagueness at dead-ahead that the power steering system seems to deliver on occasion.

Could it be this one Peter ?

I spotted it in PDI some years ago & was really impressed with the colour, it's rare to see a brown mohair hood too

Jon,

think it must be: it does looks stunning and the wire wheels set off the paint to perfection.
I wonder where it is now?

thanks for posting.

I rather like the cream hood, but it would be a nightmare to keep clean!

Yes, it's a nice contrast but as you say a mare to keep clean.

Brooklands, a few years ago. I'd forgotten that we were in procession!
