I have seen some threads here about replacing the exhaust manifold and Cat followed by an ECU reflash.
Temptation has got the better of me and so I have invested in a Librands version rather than the AR Motorsport

Now I have contacted the factory and been slightly surprised by the response as it seems there are two possible ECU reflashes !
What they have said is
Please could you inform us which exhaust system you have had fitted to your GDI. This will determine what flash would be correct. If it is the Morgan Club Sport Sports system (full system) then it will require the Club Sport flash. If it’s an alternative system then it would require the enhancement flash.

Anyone else come across this ?
Are people sure they have got what they thought they were getting?
I've no idea what the differences are.

I had the full Aero Racing manifold, cat & exhaust done at BHM together with the Club Sport map. The mapping was done at the factory.

Factory have come back to say I can have the Enhancement flash, but they cant do it at the moment because the key staff have been furloughed.
So I shall have to wait and maybe then also talk to Williams Automobiles and BHM

Have they given you any indication as to what the gains are with the enhancement flash?

I am not sure why you can't have the clubsport map as they did for mine

I have not bothered to ask, with a lot of staff missing I thought I would wait until things got back to normal

At the risk of dragging an old thread back from the past...

I have been going through the same thought processes and research as Tim - do I just get a better map or some/ all of the exhaust system upgraded too.

I spoke to MMC the other day and have booked in my ECU to have the enhancement flash done in a couple of weeks - cost £250+vat (while I have a factory tour!) When I mentioned possibly getting a Librands manifold/cat it was made very clear to me that the only way I could have the Club Sport flash was if I have the full AR system fitted. The justification was to have a fully warranted factory product and service. That cost would be just shy of £3k for the whole thing - manifold, cat, silencer, tailpipe and map, inc vat. I was speaking to the Service Manager, Rob.

I'm going to see how the car is with just the enhancement flash for now. It would be very interesting to how the performance numbers change with just the "enhancement flash" on an otherwise standard setup.

It seems a lot of money Keith but the full monte is a remarkable improvement.

I have flash my 2016 GDI with clubsport while I had the complete sport exhaust and the difference was stunning !
After I change back to the standard silencer because it was way too loud, no any difference ! The still pull like with the sport one.
So for me clubsport remap + sport manifold and catalyst = perfect !
Sport silencer not needed at all !
