Hopefully your design will meet regulations of 80mm letter height and 10mm stroke width, black letters on white background and the correct size oval....
Oh dear, that was the spec. for the old GB plate...maybe they’ll change that as well....

Yep .... the GB version was made to spec .... just went in and changed the text! .... who knows what they'll think of next .... though I believe the sizings are an international spec and therefore hopefully less likely to change.

Probably not as long as you have GB, or now UK, somewhere on the vehicle. I did it to be cool and up to date - I should know by now .......


Depends on the French since most car ferries go via there. And they vcan either be nit picking or disinterested depending on what they are told and whether the cutoms guys are threatened with redundancy. Its fun to make the British squirm!
