Had a great few days in the Speedster. A trip up to the factory on Wednesday then a couple of days pootling around locally. Had Comfortably Numb playing on the stereo-which edged through the V8 soundtrack now and again when cruising. Great moments-love this mildly insane machine.

Really enjoying life again!
Had a lovely trip along the Thames last night. The Thames Traditional Boat Rally is due to happen 27-29th August- in Henley. A great gathering of all kinds of vintage boats and a small car show. I think the ale is from the Loddon Brewery.

Brilliant... That sounds like a lovely event at Henley with a few ales at hand the perfect day. I had to look up the Loddon Brewery they sound a nice family business with some fine ales, pictures would be good if you get the chance. Meantime, more of the same therapy p.s. I haven't heard about the Dartmouth Regatta Steam Boat Rally yet, my friend Niko used to organise it but he's a full time Alpaca breeder/farmer now so I think he's quite adept at midwifery duties instead these days. I just love the old boats especially the steam one's.

I’ll sort out some photos of the day. The TTBR web site used to have a Gallery with some great photos of the various craft.
Steam Boats to Alpacas. A very Natural progression of interests!

The Aero is coming out tomorrow to go and have the Wolf Performance sump guard fitted and it's just been selected for the Royal Automobile Club "Mid-summer drive in" on the 11th August at Woodcote Park so I'll hopefully get some interesting photos to add!
Cheers, Paul

Now temperatures have returned to sensible values the Tesla is parked up and Tarka is in daily use. We are going out to a pub for lunch with friends tomorrow, I'll see if I can get some photos!
As has been said previously, there is nothing like the smell of an engine cooling down!

Got out for a couple of hours around Surrey and Sussex on Monday afternoon in the sunshine after getting back home from being in London to watch the Formula e at ExCeL. Rear brakes still squealing after fitting the EBC Redstuff pads so had the pads out to add a bit more copper ease which has improved things a little - think I'm just going to have to be patient while they bed in.
Cheers, Paul

A really excellent lunch at the Beckford Arms, close to the Fonthill Estate arch, deep in sleepy Wiltshire. https://www.beckfordarms.com/The front was massively improved by the presence of a Morgan... ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2021/07/28/Beckford-Arms.jpg) The weather was "mixed" started out wet, but put the hood down after about 5 miles and then it was a glorious drive. Waze took us along narrow lanes and through gorgeous villages... On arrival we put the hood up, fortunately as thee rain came down suddenly and heavily shortly after we went inside. Our drive back, through Fontil Park, was a delight, but as we turned into the drive the rain came down again: I love electric garage door openers. But we then had to sit in the garage and wait for the deluge to ease as the door from the garage to the house was locked and neither of us felt like getting sodden going to the front door! A good day.
