Thanks for the kind words... happy3
Every now and again I capture a wonderful image, but I don't know how I did it, so I'm not a photographer.
My son takes photos, not snap shots!

As one who enjoys a nice image and more so with automotive content, in my judgement that one is a cracker Peter... thumbs

Just got back from a Morgan Factory Tour (1st one I've ever been on) and the guide explained that the bonnet louvers are all done with a straight line and then by eye of the press operator - no jigs or anything. Amazing!

Cheers, Paul

You are right!

On my 4/4 they are made by eye - some only with one eye innocent

I think the trick they have is to position the seat after they've done the louvres so when you look out the windscreen they look straight rofl

No! I have only one seat!

In the Channel 4 documentary on How To Build British (Morgan episode), about 45 mins in there is a sequence showing the louvres being stamped. There is a line scribed on the tool and a matching line on the underside of the bonnet (looks like it was done with a chinagraph pencil, but probably an engineer's fine marker). I'm not saying I could do it, but also not quite eyeballing.

Well at least it sounded very impressive on the tour!
