"Skating" on thin ice healthwise here. With my BMI you need very thick ice & I can't skate I am more of a bloater.

Your challenge, should you accept it buddy, is to source deep fried sausage rolls or steak and kidney pies for me and thee! All in the interest of science of course BR Colin 🤣 Well, I know where we won't get them - a favourite farm shop. Will have to visit there next week I feel.

Deep fried mutton pies - a delicacy available in many parts of Scotland. I had one in the mid 80s at the The Dock Gate, a pub just outside Yarrow Shipbuilders in Scotstoun, Glasgow. Never again.
