II want to change the Fuel filter on my M3W. A new Walbro pump was fitted back in March but not a new Fuel Filter. With continued starting problems when the engine is hot, this would be a sensible thing to do as the Fuel Filter regulates the psi.

I think I'm after a MAHLE ORIGINAL Fuel filter but un sure of the model.

Any pointers appreciated.

The Alternative Parts List is always accessible through the "Owners Resource" at the top of this forum, go to the last post and it will link to the most up to date version, not on page 1. Maybe not the best laid out information but it is all there. It is a KL167 you want, as PeterG says.

If you're planning ahead for a future service, keep an eye on eBay. There are often original Mahle ones available for under £20. The cheapest I managed to buy was £12! I've just checked and unfortunately the cheapest currently on eBay seems to be £27 and that's not a Mahle either.
