Agreed Simmonds make good hoods but at high prices.

I've done an inner tube puncture repair job on one of the little splits at the seams, on the inside of the hood, probably cost me points in concours situation🤐

Those press stud fittings can pop loose. My hood was a very tight fit on one side, it appeared when being fitted the popper was fitted slightly out of line. I replaced it with a Tenax.

I'd recommend Steve Summers at Summers Upholstery in Malvern ex factory trim shop, indeed at factory for 43 years

Did the hoods and tonneau on my 4/4 and I am well impressed with them.

I had a replacement ‘Easy-up’ hood fitted at the factory in November 2011.
(I don’t know if they still offer this service)
I chose Everflex for a number of reasons.
The factory did a fabulous job, exactly to my requirements and the hood still looks great.
It was also extremely good value.
