Agreed a nice car, but it is suffering from lack of use 7k miles in 8 years is not much more than 500 miles pa. Goodness knows what will need replacing through this type of neglect.
When supplied new they were fitted with Yokohma track tyres (think hand cut slicks) which are still fitted to this car . They provided enormous grip in the dry, owners would run our of brakes before they ran out of grip, but rather less so in the wet.
Those tyres also went rock hard after a couple of years (they were track tyres designed to last a season at most) so their grip will be horrific even in the dry now.
IMHO they ruined the car , the trad Morgan chassis needs to allow the car to drift through corners and be steered on the throttle, not just cling on for dear life. However others may disagree.

It’s big money for a +8 with a hard top, monza filler and dash badge, there wasn’t much else different from standard…

I would be a bit concerned with that low mileage too and of course some sensible new rubber would be needed in the deal. Interesting your comment on them being over tyred with the Yokohamas, it makes sense.

I think the wires might also be chromed from that year.
With that mileage it should be flawless, but the mudded tailpipe tells me it hasn't seen thorough tlc.

If I had to choose between a new Plus four and this Plus 8, it would clearly be the LeMans.
