I am absolutely happy with the brake reaction bars. We immediately felt the improvement. Better comfort and stability.
Our 2019 Plus 4 has pre-drilled holes on its frame.
Went to my Morgan dealer to put them on.

I may be thick but if the BRBs are such a good addition (and they're one of the few things that the concensus says are a must-fit) and the factory drills holes ready for them .... why on earth don't the factory just fit them as standard .... would take ten minutes at most while the car was in build and, at factory quantities, cost pennies .... why wouldn't you, to improve the customer experience at virtually no cost to yourselves?? ....what am I missing here?

Ps ... not even finished the resto but have a pair fitted ready for when it hits the road on the strength of the many positive comments on here .... have yet to hear a downside beyond some cars experiencing a small reduction in lock.

It was a 10 minute job to add BRB's to my 2019 +4 - Undo 2 bolts per side (kingpin and body) - fit - do up bolts.
Like you - given that the holes / bolts already exist and the BRB's are simply bent and flattened stainless tubing I would have thought they should be included in the build of the car.
I felt an immediate improvement in the handling of the car at the front end.

Type-approved without them?

That is my thought too. At some point I also read that the BRBs have to have so-called predetermined breaking points so that they cannot cause any injuries in the event of an impact. My 4/4 was fitted with BRBs by the dealer when I bought it. So I hope after 7 happy years that they have done everything right. I didn't know that you have to pay attention to the deflected weight but it seems logical to me after reading.

Does anyone have dimensions for BRBs so I can make my own?

If the holes are already in the chassis it's easy enough to measure, that's what I did. If you don't have the holes pre drilled I could measure mine for you

The hole at the cross head end needs to be sized for the lube bolt/top bolt, which also has a reinforcing washer welded there for additional strength.

I orginally thought about making my own, but considered the £45 cost for a stainless pair suprisingly good value (especially for a Morgan part).
