Anyone know where I can get Blockley tyres, tubes and tapes fitted in East Sussex?
Local fitters can’t help or want £50 per wheel to fit if I supply

Have you considered getting Blockley supplier MWS in Slough to fit them? Not too far for you and at least they know what they're doing. Failing that, you may be better off finding a sympathetic motorcycle dealer/tyre fitter.

Second Andy's suggestion - MWS supplied and fitted while I waited last time we needed them - I called in advance to set it up (01753 549 360) and took in the wheels - fitting and balance was £18/side.

Not much use to you but my local tyre depot supplied & fitted 2 Blockleys, tubes & balanced recently for £286. They would not remove the wheels I had to take them in. You dont need tape with reinforced tubes. Is it the balancing of wire wheels they baulk at? As suggested a motorcycle shop can do that.

Avons had last 10K miles but it was time for them to go - the ride seems a bit better with some beefy tread on the tyres!

Blockley Tyres seem to receive quite mixed reviews.
Although it's put very diplomatically on their forum, the manufacturers of Trikings don't appear to rate them too highly.
A friend had them on his Jaguar XK140 and took them off after one European tour citing excessive road noise and poor wet-weather grip. Others seem to rate them highly.
Will be interesting to hear how you get on with them.

Not bad in the dry when they got warm, but plenty of understeer especially when pressing on. Hold on tight in the wet.........

I forgot to mention, I did get almost 15000 miles out of a pair as opposed to 3500 miles out of a pair of Michelin Commanders.
