Thanks for history lesson and I'm glad you are happy with it. I agree it isn't broken but in my opinion it also isn't great and the site would benefit from a more user friendly interface. No need to repeat myself any more however and I look forward to some photos from Malcolm when he has RTFM.

I'm pretty sure that with all of these you can just drag and drop an image or easy upload both from a PC or a Phone.

Reddit is pretty much exactly like TalkMorgan. Their image server is called 'imgur' and you can use it for TM as well if you prefer - or use tm-img for your Reddit posts.

Reddit allow you to drag and drop an image/upload directly from the forum if I'm not mistaken? A few more examples below.

I used Imgur for hosting these and it has an additional hurdle as the main "Grab Link" button does give you the tag compatible url. You have dig into the share options then find the BBCode link and copy that. All achievable of course but when you only want to post an image once a month very easy to forget the steps.

Wowza I though driving my Morgan 150 miles in the wet would be too much to chew but clearly upoading photos is a far more chewy proposition!

However as the newbie here I have since opened up a TM Image account. Very straight forward and amusingly it took me considerably longer to find the pictures buried on my phone than it took to upload them to TM. So now to put pictures on this thread.....

Purely as feedback the post below from Hamwich is the one that got me clued up on the picture posting method, albeit not totally head scratching free!

1. Upload your picture onto a web server that provides a hosting facility. There are bazillions out there to choose from, Tm-img is ours and is free to use. Here's the address: https://www.tm-img.com
2. Copy the url of the picture to your clipboard. tm-img makes this easy by providing a BB-Code format link in the 'Embed Codes' section
3. Paste the link into your post

In the Help section of this forum and the FAQ on how to post an image it refers to taking a link from your own web page. I would suggest that few people run their own web page but lots use web hosting of pictures. If the answer was adjusted to also include details for taking a picture from a web hosted page including the bit about using the BB code that would have helped me. But now I have done it once I know what to do for next time.
