Awesome, what a great looking car. Are the pipes standard or do you have the stage 1 fitted?

Thanks. I wondered as you have a custom air filter cover. A future upgrade to consider 😀

I do? Great! This is a car that gives and keeps on giving!

Today I am about to go pick up a freind (1929 MG owner) and we are going for a run down A30 from Camberley to Basingstoke, A339 to Alton and then A31 to Farnham and then back to our local church for a coffee morning where I have been told there is another Morgan owner (4 wheeled version) to natter to. Certainly beats staying in my office!

Something for you to look at over the Winter MalcolmM3W, the air filter looks like it doesn't have a support back plate. That usually means that the weight of the filter assembly is all hanging on the throttle body, this often results in air leaks around the throttle body mounts. Some of the after market filter manufacturers do a support bracket for the S&S X-Wedge, or you can make something similar yourself maybe?

Planenut is correct. That’s a Kuryakyn Mach 2 filter and it needs support lugs fitting between the filter back plate and the bosses on the pots. There’s a chap called Emil at

That makes a set for $75.00.

By the way you have two M3W owners not far from you in NE Hants, one being me, the other is “Number 42”.
