On a different note, returning to the title of this thread, I had a great day out today with Mark, AKA HeadlessBlue. We met up at Uppingham and did a marvellous blast in and around Rutland. Went along some new, to me, roads and villages along a really great route devised by Mark. 10 out of 10. Super lunch too and 65 miles on the clock when I got back home. The new Plus Four has now done 1,500 miles and is running beautifully.

Great day today - my first as a gang member!!!! 101 miles all told by the time I pulled back on to the drive (came back via North Luffenham, John, for variety) and I have to say the experience was bloomin’ marvellous. Decent grub at Rassells Nursery (including threatened confiscation of our mogs by two ladies who said they were taking our cars, something to do with parking offensively or summat 🤣), lots of smiles, waves and occasional photos (especially as we passed through Stamford). JJR was great company and has given me many ideas of possible updates to consider. Bellagio and Florence made a great pairing today in my opinion….how Italian…
As I said to him, there is nothing better than a Morgan in your rear view mirror for much of the day 👍😎🥰

Unfortunately it took 58 miles to do a 22 mile round trip to collect a prescription. When I finally got home I told a slightly concerned Her Ladyship that Insulate Britain had set up shop on multiple country lanes in the vicinity necessitating many diversions…😇🤭🤞
I don’t think she believed me so I may be wearing tonight’s roast chicken rather than eating it…I hope not, she does a lovely roast potato…

30 mile round trip yesterday in generally dry weather (apart from last 10 miles with drops of rain) to Gates Garden Centre. Lots of Christmas displays everywhere (bah humbug) - never been there before, ‘twas surprisingly big. Main purpose of the trip was to get Lady HB’s thoughts on my recent door sealing attempts. She approved! So I got tea (home made fish pie) later on 🤓. She no longer needs the scarf stuffed down by her arm for warmth (although still intends to use coz she keeps bruising her elbow by the door lock) but I consider it to be a win. Happy hour or two spent today detailing n polishing….hoping to take Belle to the vaccine centre on Thursday as a fellow volunteerer of this parish also has a Mog and took theirs last week - looked lovely in the car park and I was rather envious…just needed Belle parked next to theirs to make the perfect picture imo 🤭

Love the various creative excuses to get out in the Plus 4!

Just a 28 mile drive today round the local country roads in the main, roof down, and her Ladyship by my side. Lovely weather to start with, warm and bright sunshine.
Then the rain came so nipped back down the A1 to get home quicker. As normal, more water ended up up on the inside of the windscreen than outside!!!!! Still, we sung and giggled all the way home 🥳😎😝
