Thank for all for the ideas.

I know about some special sockets for the twoeared spinners. But I wonder. In taught (hope it‘s the right word) the construction is:
give the ear a hit to fit or to undo. With a handy hammer.

A socket with a bigger tool is in my eyes a point of think about. But I‘m more with Mr. Chapman… keep it simple.

As my experience shows: copper and hide is wrong hammer, but as I noticed there are no lead hammers in Germany available.
I think it‘s about that lead isn‘t allowed in Germany for many things.

So I‘ll have the try with the nylon hammer. If there are some bad points (and dents again) I ask my neighbor for some pieces of wood.

This tool was described in a recent issue of Miscellany. More info from Machiel Kalf in the Netherlands machealkalf@ziggo.nl

Hello Peter,

oh, forgotten. I‘ve got also the special wood tool. But the spinner is so deep in the rim that the woodtool doesn‘t work!

I‘ve got the standard factory fitted wirewheels.

I also know the MWS fitting instructions. Now waiting for the postman with the nylon Thorhammer.
