I ended up speaking to Keith by accident. Since then I have really appreciated how fortunate I was to have such expert advice just at the time when I was seriously wallowing. It is, indeed, a privilege to find a human being with the glorious combination of knowledge, common sense, modesty and humour.
I also remember his immortal words ‘They all do that, sir’ - spoken with a chuckle in his voice.
