Such detail would be very good for model railway applications, or small scale locomotive nameplates for example.

Wow! That is amazing.
Are you going to offer an engraving service to TMers or even the wider community? Yes. Im hoping to build up an engraving service. The machine has to pay for itself at some point !  I can also do multiple items, batch numbers, bar and QR codes etc I can do flat and rotary.
