The good thing about those lifts is you can leave them on the floor and drive over them to park.

I think one of best features of the lift is, once positioned, the only tool required to operate lift up or drop vehicle is a power drill! I’m using a cordless power drill and is working well.

Once you have one, don’t let your neighbors see it! They will ask to borrow…. I have to keep the door closed now.

Great piece of kit, the only problem I’ve had is the first (cheap) drill burnt out after 6 months and the second one only goes very slowly in reverse. doh
So if you haven’t already got one, factor in a good quality variable speed reversing drill about 1100W seems ideal although I now lower with my smaller rechargeable and raise with my mains drill.

Out of interest IMHO, what mains drill are you using?

Thank you. Ive been struggling with hand winding to raise- no mains power, and the extension cable would have to trail across the road, so I may look out for a 1000W cordless, unless any one has tips on tapping into utility light poles! Either that or Ill have to do my lifting late night or early morning.

The last drill motor I used on my EZ Lift was a cordless Milwaukee HoleHawg. Plenty of power.
