Looks the part.
Is it me or do the front wings come in to the front every so slightly? The full on front shot from the article gives this impression. Nice small alteration to tie into the front splitter if that is the case.

https://www.carsales.com.au/editorial/details/extreme-280kw-morgan-plus-8-gtr-unleashed-133373/Article on an Australian Website. I find this line interesting - just nine examples of the Morgan Plus 8 GTR will be made as the company that fabricated the previous-generation Plus 8 (that was subsequently replaced by the Plus Four and Plus Six) has gone out of business. Is that Superform Aluminium? I would have thought they would be used for the Plus Four and Six Wings but I guess not. Also I would have thought they do more than just make Morgan body parts so losing Morgan should not have put them out to business.

No Chris. Superform are still making parts for all sorts of people (including rail, aero and some other car manufacturers). Radshape used to make the Aero8 and Aero based Plus 8 chassis. I'd not heard they had closed (had a relative of a senior Radshape person on a tour a couple of years ago). And I had to correct Perry's thread title

I just love the car, especially the new front splitter... a touch of design inspiration, IMHO!

The splitters at both ends are really well done, and shows what MMC can do on a limited production run. With Borranis, and a spare wheel, it would look quite the business, but oh those door mirrors.................................
