I have just heard this week through the Mog Vine that a well known dealer ( not the one above ) has been taken to court for what I was told was bad workmanship . Accourding to the tale he fitted a radiator badly or not to his customers required standards the customer complained and he was more or less told to B/off . He took it to court and the judge did not give the dealer the chance to go in the box he was hit with the full costs . There that should keep you happy

I make no comment about the rights and wrongs of JtL's case, but I sometimes feel that dealers are often in a very difficult position, having to balance the amount of care and attention they give to a car with the need to be able to carry out work whilst charging a sensible amount for the work.

In the short time I've been with Morgan, I've experienced a whole range of experiences from dealers, not all good - but more good than not. That's no different to my experiences with VW though.

I'd agree with what Dave says. As to Morgans, it really does show that if you have a good dealer, stick with him. On a personal level, I've found this and I'm veryhappy with the service and attention I get ( Not least'cos they put up with my endless questions!!

I've long believed that when buying a car the question of who is going to look after it is crucial. It's why in the end I decided to buy my 4/4 from Morgan France rather than save some cash & buy it in the UK. In my quest to decide what to replace my faithful Volvo V70 with, amongst others I visited the local Audi dealer. What an arse! As long as I live here I'll never, ever buy one of their cars.

I'm interested, what was the outcome of this case?
