I still pefer to travel by train it's so easy. Good for you! Indeed. For 35 years I commuted from Stroud to London once or twice a week on average. I drove down maybe 5 times, when I had to carry too much tech kit to transport easily by train. I vastly preferred the train, especially when coming home. Who wants to drive when you can grab a swift pint or two of ESB in the Mad Bishop and Bear & then sleep all the way back?
