How is the Morgan coping with the roads... Ha! not necessarily such a daft idea and maybe one day but no, I came on a plane, then a train, the a funicular, then a bus, then a cable car, then a ski lift. Yes it was TIC, it is a lovely country to tour and back in the late 70’s when I was working in Germany we spent a fair bit of time there. My good lady is not enchanted with the Morgan so we won’t be enjoying a topless tour but it would be good. If she was keen I would have done the Treffen by now Laurens welcomes 4 wheelers… I use to travel similarly to you when I went on a couple of school visits back in the early 60’s, great fun enjoy your stay.

Great watch. Is that some bare patches in the snow I spot at 3,000m ? Where are you Ewan - Andermatt, Mürren, Saas Fee, Zermatt... ? Wherever, have some Raclette for me please ! It’s Crans-Montana, that was the highest cable they have, 11km ski run back to Crans.I’ve been lucky with the conditions, scorching sunshine all day everyday and great skiing conditions but they could do with some new snow now, I skied from 9am to 4pm with just that jumper, didn’t even bother with gloves and I was still too warm at times. A watch is essential for skiing now, fiddling with a phone on a chair lift is a recipe for disaster, especially now that all your tickets, Covid guff and travel authorisation are on there.

Guys I think you should read the rules for this post. Simon audits all items posted on here so we you shouldn't reply or discuss things here.

Sincere apologies, I’m well aware of that rule and generally always adhere, I saw the topic on “active threads “and failed to notice it was in the for sale section.

Those of us who joined in the discussion committed the egregious error of thread drift, but no harm done I reckon. Let's move on.

Sorry Simon - the Devil made me do it, reducing your workload is uppermost in my mind and this drift is brain fade, sorry.
