So normally my head tells me i need a cuppa at around 2 or 3 in the morning so here i am just shooting the breeze.and really asking for some of your thoughts.

I decided to buy the Morgan after my treatment route steered me down the road of not being able to ride my bikes.

So logged onto My Bleazey's Web site and read up (hellllllllllp)

Needless to say in the April of last year we purchased "baby Blue" from Mr Rutter.

I then set to and complied a hit list (with the help of TM of course) to attack. but also enjoying the car (at a distance and wondering when i would need recovering)

So i think the main answer i would like, is following all the work that Craig is carrying out in April and some i have done --------do we get reliability from a car that should have been reliable when it rolled out of the factory on its launch ?

Bleazey deluxe centa upgrade kit

Bleazey upgraded clutch friction plate

Bleazey 4 additional polyurethane rubber rollers

M3W rear disc brake conversion kit

Fuel pump Upgrade

Rear Mudguard

Braded oil feed pipes

Harley three phase rectifier

Extended seat belt points.

Not giving up, just really wanting to be assured at least we will be part of the way there to reliability.

Don't worry Craig i will darken your door step in April.

Tea's nearly gone so its back to bed i think.

All i hope from the last few years following its launch owners of the Five speeder have had fun and a'lot of grief due to lack of research --------lets just hope MMC will support moving into the next three wheeler innovation.

All whom are attending on the 24th enjoy your day.

No idea what you already have fitted but here goes:
If using it for touring I would consider a windscreen if you don’t already have it, and maybe raise the front of the seat for comfort. Also the luggage rack.
For performance / engine breathing consider a Stage 1 exhaust, and for looks an air filter?
Maybe the Empire suspension kit.
For the drivetrain maybe Phil’s Bevel box mount kit…

Have fun!

IMHO The rear disc brake conversion is pretty pointless unless you are racing, even then I could easily lock all wheels with standard brakes.
At speed the issue is traction for both accelerating and decelerating, not to mention road holding, and not the brakes.

Locking wheels is not a sign of braking efficiency in truth, but more a reflection on the feel and feedback available through the pedal to the driver. Really well setup brakes will allow accurate threshold braking - where you can hold the braking force accurately at just below the limit of grip - and the new rear disk conversion gets much, much closer to that setup than the drum in my view. I'm still trying to put good miles on mine (avoiding the storms as appropriate of course), but as far as I am concerned, the improvement in feel, feedback and braking power is considerable and a big step forward in regard to what I look for in a braking setup. I am putting an article together about my experience with the conversion and will share via the MTWC once complete. Good brakes are just as valid when making progress on the roads as they are in the heat of battle on track and the drum on the back is not there to aid performance, but just to make it cheaper to build unfortunately...

Yes totally agree with R1NGA on the brake front.

Well set up brakes let you line up both road and track wise.

WIth those upgrades you're descibing, your M3W will be really reliable.

The most important one is the Centa Bleazey conversion.

I will add a change of the original Banner-rubbish battery for a much better reliable one. I've just changed our 2-years-old dead Banner with a Magneti Marelli ION-15. I have to do the corresponding "Hangar Works" chapter in our blog!

The raise of the front of the seat is IMHO - mandatory. It totally changed our comfort for long distances!

I don't know which year your M3W is. Ours is December 2019 - January 2020. And we are not afraid to travel extreme long distances with it! But this spring M3W Services will carry out the Bleazey conversion of my CEnta and a couple of extra changes (fuel pump too) to be absolutely certain that our rocket can do any trip without risk.

You can check out what we've done until now in our blog www.speedymarmots.com
