The dimmer does work on the clock of the Plus Four, it goes from very dim to nothing. 😡 If you're reasonably confident with access to the rheostat it would be interesting to see if you bridge it out what happens to the 'untrimmed' brightness

TBM, this is the LED version that fitted my clock ![[Linked Image]](https://www.tm-img.com/images/2019/09/16/clock-bulb.th.jpg) Of no use to Jonathan as his is a CX car and suspect difficult to access ? Checked mine at the weekend, and yes it is that type (car sidelight bulb). I had a few LED lying around but the diameter is too large to fit, so have ordered one from Amazon. It may improve the light.
