James,
thanks, the car is in fine fettle, and Tom at Williams does seem to be on top of the weird "Morgan-BMW-Volvo" CanBus system! As mentioned, the AeroMax wheels go back on over the weekend.
I'm mulling over selling the Speedster Wheels, SWMBO really doesn't like them...... so they are in the "For Sale" section.

Looking at the mini is almost like looking at my Aero - so there's definitely a bit of Morgan in that too!

Would she be happier with them if they were a different colour ? A colour change may be a lot cheaper than an alternative set of wheels. Unless you really want different wheels for the winter? In which case, there will be a form of man-maths that will work in your favour.

After a glorious drive back from Williams I took Tarka down to the stables, where we keep our horse, and parked next to another wonderful modern take on a British Classic! ![[Linked Image]](https://tm-img.com/images/2022/03/23/Tarka-and-Mini.jpg) The Mini is owned and driven by Robyn a spirited young lady rider on her horse Mango (really???) The latest Mini is a bit "blobby" but the series 1 Mini is as much a trad Mini as Tarka is a Trad Morgan. Tarka looking great as usual, the early BMW MINI's are around 20 years old and are becoming a bit of a sought after modern classic, especially the Coopers

Yes, I have an S1 Aero & a R56 2013 Mini John Cooper Works - both such great sports cars in their own way.
The Morgan won't be sold as long as I keep driving.
The Mini I am however considering selling as I quite fancy a BMW M2 before such devil toys are outlawed....
Don't know really - stick or twist?.

Not sure whether you should stick or twist - however if you do twist then my next door neighbour had an M2 for while, amongst several other exotica, however didn't get on with it at all and went for a Cayman GT4 which is, by all account, an infinitely better car from his perspective. The last few days of glorious weather has certainly been made for enjoying the ultimate Aero experience and long may this Aero perfect weather continue!
Cheers, Paul

We all judge cars in different ways but I would stick.
I would not compare a modern mini with an M2. The modern mini can be ragged hard without it becoming crazy. The M2 needs a track to enjoy as it is so fast. Flip the Mini a bit (strut brace, uprate shocks, brakes, mild engine tweak) and it becomes a hoot everywhere (with care and respect).
I love the good ladies Mini, maybe not as much as the Mog but more than the Merc for certain.
But we all trigger on different things don't we.
Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Don't know really - stick or twist?. Yeah the M2 a sensational car and exactly where the bloated M3 should be. The. It’d be true to its origins I bought my Daughters off her last year, an OG car and she owned it from new. Love it.

Pedant mode on...please stop calling 'em Mini as I get all excited because that's a proper old school Mini A BMW is a MINI, and as for all this John Cooper Works stuff, poor old JC would be turning in his grave to see his name emblazoned on some of these ugly bloated pimped up, oversized stuff And...relax, I'm off for a rub down with a damp edition of the Radio Times
