Was past due for some new shoes...

Tape the shiny side of the front axel and hold with large crescent wrench, 1-1/16 nut on the other site. Slide axel out and front tire drops down.



New Coker Tire Excelsior Stahl Sport Radial Tire, 500R16. These tires were not made during the original ACE's production timeline, and are now used on the new ACE model.



Remove rear tire and brush out a pound of pine needles.



New Toyo Proxes T1R, 195/55r16 (same as original) and replaced 10 year old battery while I was at it.



With true radial tires up front, much better handling and braking; ready for Summer!

Nice! Is that the stock rear Honda disc?

What does the Ace weigh?

Confident the rear disc is stock Honda, the e-brake is custom.

ACE weighs 958lbs (pretty sure that number came from Peter Dron's book)
