Looks like your Wolf sump guard was a good investment

Same mine. I am just worried that not using it often enough and on a regular basis could bring some issue.

Bought it just of the sake of having it and ended up being a great investment.

Likewise, it displays its battle scars proudly...

Absolutely agree. Mine gained two new scars yesterday on a badly cambered and bumpy road.

I had the same concerns with my S1; spoke to Cain a few times about a suitable fitment but I think it was so few numbers and he was very busy.

In the end I got my local garage to take some measurements and then had a sheet of Ally laser cut at a local fabricators.

I drilled four holes to aid cooling and used Sikaflex to fix some S/S mesh to the reverse (to stop any stones acting as missiles!)

Back to the garage and they then fitted it for me -

Sorry, not the best pictures but you get the idea cheers

Like others, it has saved the car from (severe) damage on at least two occasions...... scared

A good day's work, winter wheels and tyres removed, summer wheels and tyres fitted, tyre pressures all reset and after a quick run, the wheel nuts retorqued.
But I'm worn out, I'm too old to be changing the massive wheels and tyres, which is why the 18" Speedster wheels and Crossclimate tyres are up for sale.

All we need now is a few more sunny days.

I prefer to have the right tires for the season (even then sometimes I do not have the luck of driving it) but I am happy paying the tire shop to do the hard part for me. Luckily is not that expensive.

I remember when we lived in Switzerland in the 70's/80's I changed the wheels/tyres every winter. In those days that meant a sensible daily drive, plus a TVR. I could do that myself (in our well-lit underground garage) 'cos I was young and fit then.... But how do get your car + the wheels/tyres on it, and the summer set, to the tyre place ? (and back again).
