The press release for the new Super 3 mentions " the bevel box has been re-engineeered using a custom tooth profile."
I presume this has been done to solve the noise of the ones fitted to the old three wheeler & if so wonder if it would it be possible to fit one to replace the screamer in my 2015 M3W.
Comments please.

The bevel box in the Super 3 was said at the launch to be interchangeable with the Quaife version. It certainly looked the same externally with the same mounting points.

I was just weighing up the BB drive ratio. I suppose the extra revs and power available from Ford engine would align nicely with the higher quoted top speed, given same gearbox and drive ratio. Note sure of Super 3 rear tyre circumference though.

Thanks Rog. So 4% larger circumference. Close enough I suppose and making the Super 3 suitably long-legged with same BB ratio.

Assumes the drive pulley on the rear wheel is the same size as the M3W

My 2017 car has a real screamer and I want to do something about it. Have investigated a few options but not much out there.
Is there any more information available about retro fitting a new bevel box from a Super3?
