My headlight bucket mount broke on my 2016 M3W. Are these easily available in America or do I need to plan on fixing what I have myself?

Search this web site, I think I remember someone saying they used a standard automotive lamp holder from a completely different application.
2019 M3W Sold and is now in Las Vegas enjoying the showgirls :-)

Cannot help with a USA supplier but these are same/similar to the original spec units. https://www.s-v-c.co.uk/search/?query=AS700SF&x=28&y=7&records=6 Also available in Black p/n AS700B If you have black headlight buckets they seem to be weaker than the stainless items as quite a few have failed.

i guess i got lucky since mine came in stainless and i did not order them that way. The 110 Year Edition apparently all had stainless. Thanks for the link Planenut.

My headlight buckets are black so I guess that explains why they broke. I found some stainless steel ones that will work from Speedway.

The pivot 'ball' on one of my black ones cracked, from what looked like over tightening, based on the deformation. I was able to reshape the pivot ball and do repeated tack welds to repair it. Some metal finishing, new powder coat, and recontouring of the mounting hardware and it's been all good for the last couple of years.
