I have a 2005 Plus 4 which I bought from main dealer last May having done 22000 miles It was fully serviced before pick up. I have only done approx 200 miles due to illness but should be ok soon. Do I need to have it serviced again( it has full main dealer history) or can I wait until next time? Also can I have it serviced locally or does it need to be main dealer- dealer is approximately 90 miles away and will it affect long term value not having it done at the main dealer? Many thanks in advance.

It's always nice to be able to show a consistent service record right through - but to be honest I don't think it's necessary with so little use. I skipped one of my services mid-lockdown - just had the annual MOT and did a check over/tighten all round myself - noted in the service record with date & mileage. (Different story if under warranty, of course).
That's assuming, of course, that the dealer pre-sale service was, indeed, "comprehensive" (unlikely, I should have thought). Worth finding out exactly what they did perhaps. What about brake fluid changes? Your MOT should cover most of the safety items.
Others will be along with - no doubt - differing opinions!

You don't say where you are located Gilberto (approximately will do). There could be a good local independent much closer than 90 miles.

Don't worry too much about missing a single service , but as per Nick above , just give it a once over yourself. Also do make sure that you get the MoT test.
Also don't worry over much about the service being done by a main dealer. most prospective morgan owners are more concerned that the servicing has been done regularly and to a good standard , rather than by a main dealer. There are many independents out there who are very knowledgeable about Morgans, whom I would trust more than some dealers.

I use an independent who does a good job. I would suggest a pre MOT check (especially the brakes & fluid) and MOT would be fine if you then get it service fully next time. but as a caveat if it has a cambelt then ensure you check that is under the mielage or age to change it. The belt will deteriorate even if you don't use the car.

Thanks to all for your interest and advice so far. Interesting thoughts on main dealer servicing worth trying to find a good independent. I had intended to get MOTC so will organise! It doesn’t have a Cambelt,

IK Classics Washpit Mills Green Lane Holmfirth HD9 2RD Or if you are ever down in South Yorks, I'll stick it up on my ramp and give it a check over
