Very sad the uk govt didn't keep production here Agreed, because once outsourced offshore it very, very rarely comes back, some sneaky companies import it back in bulk & box it up in the UK with their company logo and a union jack on the box

a friend of mine is interested in buying this car.
He explained to me that it was the CEO of the Cie Grenadier who decided to manufacture the French version of the continuation of the historic defender, being an amateur of hunting and of the defender.
He bought the Mercedes factory in the east of France, where the smart thermal was manufactured, to manufacture these Grenadier 4x4s there....

I had one of these on order a couple of years ago but the communication on progress was non existent.
Constant delays and price increases made it less attractive so I cancelled mine.
I do love it and want it to be great, but I must say after seeing Harry’s reviews, it looks like it’s fallen a bit short.
Or at least, it’s too niche for my needs.
I wish them well on a great venture.
