Both seem to be close-ish to you (if my geography is still OK), and as they are both low-mileage surely someone on TM must know the history of the car(s) and why they are being sold ? Good luck anyhow !

A little follow up
If anyone has spotted my other thread in the maintenance section they’ll see I’ve spoken to the tornado chip people today and they recon they can set up my current car for somewhere between 1 and 2k
I’ve been looking at a retrim and the cost of that is eye wateringly expensive seats at £3.5k plus carpets etc is likely to be £5k plus
A splash of paint at £2k would bring the total to £10k or there-abouts.
So I continue to dither….

So I continue to dither…. Peter J found a lady local to him producing good quality leather work for a very reasonable price, from memory his was a small job but you never know maybe worth a chat.

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

I’d happily have mine retrimmed if they were sculpted recliners. Mine are fixed and quite flat nothing like the ones in the car above. In 3 years I’ve only seen one pair of recliners on sale and the seller didn’t reply to my emails so presumably sold them very quickly. I’ve seen another set in a breakers but the seller wouldn’t sell the Seats without the rest of the car!

This is a really interesting thread.
My Morgan experience is very different, as I have happily owned my ‘Black Top’ Zetec 4/4 for 17 years. Through helping my local dealer out on occasion, I have driven most of the pre CX models. My favourite was the Mk1 3.0 Roadster, with the exception of the poor ground clearance. The sound of the Plus 8 was addictive, but for me it was a heavy old beast. I then realised that, again for me, my humble 4/4 gave me everything I wanted the Morgan to do. Huge fun, wonderful touring experiences and a group of like minded friends.
