I consider myself to be very fortunate in that I have found an old time mechanic ( not old just old time ) who recently did a full diagnostic check on my beast which included the removal, cleaning and gapping the plugs, a compression test,dismantling the SU's, checking the needles, floats etc, cleaning out the air filters, resetting the tick over, adjusting the mixture, adjusting the trottle linkage, adding a shot of anti friction stuff to the engine oil ( similar to Molyslip ) and a final road test all for £92.00 Obviously I give him all the work I ever need !!!,

At least Trabant checked to make sure water didn't come in
